Slavery in Western Sahara
New Australian documentary is causing international controversy.
Back in 2007, two Australian film-makers headed to the Saharawi refugee camps in Tindouf, Algeria. The plan was to make a film about a family reunion between a mother and daughter separated for 35 years.
But what they found was quite a different story, and the film-makers say the separation was the result of modern-day slavery.
